Thanks for the comment.
If you want a 2A model with 20 frets I can have it made for you and have it send to GSI.
In any case I will make sure some of the next 2A models I will send to GSI have 20 frets.

It is a shame that the 2a is not made with a 20th fret anymore. That was a great plus for the model to have. Guitar salon international is now selling this guitar signed by Antonio Picado but with no 20th fret. I would rather have the 20th fret than the signature.

Hi Otto,
Decennia lang hebben onze levens zich in verschillende richtingen ontwikkeld.
Als ik mij niet vergis waren wij klasgenoten op de ASVO.
Ik heb inmiddels “een schitterende toekomst achter mij” als een lid van de zgn.
“lost generation”. Sedert 1972 amateur klassiek guitarist, vooropleiding Amsterdams
Conservatorium, en sedertdien op eigen houtje maar wat aangeklungeld.
Nu, inmiddels “wat dichter bij de uitgang”, en op zoek naar een Echte Guitaar,
stuitte ik – tot mijn verrassing – op jouw naam, en dat riep meteen weer een hele
reeks van prille jeugdherinneringen op.
Hoe dan ook, de recensies zijn lovend, en wat ik gezien en gehoord heb op Youtube
is overtuigend!
Ik woon in North Carolina, USA, maar “afstand is geen bezwaar”.
Zou het leuk vinden om iets van je te horen.

Hi Troy, like I told you on facebook. Sorry to hear I missed you when you were in Amsterdam last winter. Next time give me a call, I live very close by my workshop. About the strings; at the moment I use Savarez New Cristal, high tension on my guitars. The trebles are very clear. What I used for a long time (and sometimes still do) is a combination of Augustine blue(high tension) basses with Hannabach 815 blue (high tension) trebles. These trebles have a warm round tone and the Augustine basses are very firm. Please give me your comment after trying. With best regards, Otto Vowinkel
